Stamford, CT Mayor's Proclamation
October 9, 2025
Stamford Mayor, Caroline Simmons, officially marked October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month by issuing a formal proclamation at the Stamford Government Center. GLOW was honored to be invited to the event, where Mayor Simmons graciously recognized GLOW’s founder, Annabelle Barth, for her outstanding leadership and dedication to empowering survivors and raising awareness for this important cause.

Walk the Walk & 5K Run Against Domestic Violence
October 5, 2025
GLOW rallied Greenwich Academy students to join the 2025 YWCA Walk the Walk Against Domestic Violence. The morning was bright with sunshine, energy, and purpose as students walked and ran in support of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Donation of Gift Bags to DVCC Stamford
July 10, 2025
GLOW donated a selection of gift baskets of luxury self-care products to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) in Stamford. Each basket was thoughtfully curated to provide comfort, relaxation, and a sense of renewal for survivors of domestic violence.

GLOW Essentials Drive with Oz Lane Agency

GLOW was so grateful to have been selected as the recipient of self-care product donations from the amazing influencer talents of the Oz Lane Agency at their Pura Vida Williamsburg event! Thanks to their generosity, GLOW will be creating numerous gift bags for women survivors of domestic abuse at local shelters—reminding them they are seen, supported, and never alone.

Family GLOW Day at Henry Street Settlement
April 26, 2025
GLOW led a group of high school students in volunteering at a special family event for the women and children of Helen's House at Henry Street Settlement, creating a joyful day filled with tie-dying t-shirts, reading with the children, and meaningful connection. To end the day, each woman received a GLOW care package thoughtfully curated with self-care products generously donated by a variety of brands and retailers.

Chapin Day of Service with GLOW
March 1, 2025
In partnership with The Chapin School in NYC, GLOW hosted a Day of Service attended by Chapin students, faculty, alumnae and families. GLOW successfully raised awareness for the multitude of issues facing domestic violence victims and survivors as volunteers gathered to learn about GLOW's mission and craft bracelets for self-care gift bags being donated to these brave women in local shelters.

Donation of Gift Bags to YWCA Harmony Project
January 2025
GLOW solicited generous donations from CVS Greenwich which were used to create self-care gift bags for the women of the Harmony Project at the YWCA Greenwich.

Bake Sale at Greenwich Academy
December 9, 2024
GLOW hosted a bake sale for the high school at Greenwich Academy to raise awareness for the issues of domestic violence. 100% of the funds raised were donated to the domestic abuse victims and survivors served by the Harmony Project, an organization within the YWCA Greenwich.
